Newell is quick and has a lightning right hook. He also has ground game game as well. I also thought he had a disadvantage, but was I wrong.

 

His left arm can't be locked at all. Not far, but well done even as a "handicap." He can still use that elbow, too. I want to see him fight more elite fighters.

Not going to take away from his impressive victory though.

When he took him to the ground, his short limb looked to be an advantage. The reach is long enough to get between his opponents blocks and make strikes. Plus there isn't anything to graple so he knows people have to go for his right arm.

If you can stand and box him, he can't block to his left all that well. Forward kicks should limit his abiity to get inside and take down.

The more video footage that comes out, the less of an advantage he'll have later in his career.
