yeah dont expect anything clean, just scribble away on the paper, then yif you really want a clean final piec, just trace over the lines you liked from the scratch one.
And dont start off drawing the outline, draw the basic shapes. that might help you, but do whatever feels best.

Everyone can draw...but some have a natural ability to make drawings look better. Not sure what exactly it is, but yeh, I want to start working on what little ability I do have...

I am currently taking art class and can manipulate glass, solid objects back ground control with charcoal. IT is the BEST tool i have ever use to draw. Go to your nearest art supply store and grab a box of smooth drawing charcoal (don't go for the cheap ones) and get some drawing paper, like arches or regular sketching paper. These paper absorb charcoal really well. The right tools can make art easy.
