think of it like this.....if gas gets that high....it will only be slightly more expensive to run straight 100 octane all the time at ~4.29/gal. I'm ok with that!

sweet. I'm mainly worried about highway mileage since im on the highway all the time going up and down to LA, going to tahoe, and commuting 80 miles round trip to my GFs house in the city

I just went out and topped all the tanks- in my car (even though its running on 3 cylinders) and the one I've got on loan;
The Chevron on Gilman and SanPablo is usually the expensive place, while the X-tra station and the SP are usually about the cheapest in town- but not tonight.
I think we're going to see $4 per gallon before the end of September, at the rate things are going we'll see it next week
