Old School LA Cops shoot @ unarmed man 81 times

No complaint about why he got shot. Although he did toss his flip flop (not a gun) before he got pelted 22 times. Why didn't he get air lifted to a hospital, but the dog did? Dog > Human!

just rewatched the final scenes to it. quite tragic on both ends. dude is a pos. an officer dropped the ball when accidentally releasing the dog. and thats where everything goes to **** and everybody reacted and unloaded on the guy. i really dont think the number of times they shot the guy really matters. he was threatening to take down the dog which is a member of the police department. and at that very moment all of the officers on scene unloaded thinking that he was going to shoot the dog. with everyone gunning for you, you have to protect your own. poor dog. gosh. any dog > that pos any damn day.

Agreed. If you put yourself into that type of situation you deserve whatever you get coming.

"If you hit me with a beanbag, Im shootin at ya'all mother ****ers."

He's threatening violence in response to nonviolence. Cops can't treat that as a non-hostile situation.

Seriously though, you're asking why the guy didn't get airlifted? I think the phrase, repeated twice by one of the officers, "The guys dead" might have something to do with it.
