I have never heard of a RB20 non turbo, let alone a R34 powered one. And if that's really the case, why does it have GTR badges and what appears to be a front mount??. As for it being CA legal there's really no way for that to be true, only certain years of the R33 are eligible to become legalized in CA.

it looks like someone just took the chassis and put in an older motor. The RB30 is a single cam FI motor, most likely from an early skyline (R31, I think). It may have CA reg but that won't stop every LEO from pulling you over and trying to figure out what you got. I would guess it got the CA reg as a special build vehicle.
Well, if anyone on here gets it, and you want to build the real thing - let me know. I have a spare RB26DETT with matching 6-speed getrag tranny. Good luck!

Something is fishy. At the very least, they're stupidly using a plate from a completely different car.
I know personalized plates can be swapped from car to car, so maybe I am just paranoid.

buzz... no such thing as too paranoid when it comes to skylines. I wish I could get one but I fear having it impounded.

Last i heard, ICE was impounding/going after everyones Skylines...R32s, R33s, and R34s...theres even a story online where the GTR forum president/VP (he had a title...just forgot what) and he had his non-running Skyline taken from him. The only Skylines i know about has dealership plates and are driven by shop owners. Pass by ZGarage and youll see a R32 outside...i love to pass that place just to have a glance
