...and how do I turn it off???

Just installled Doom 3 and when i try to run it says "CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game."
is this just CD burning software? Ive turned off just about every damn thing in the task manager and it still says this, help!!!!

 

advanced pornography software? ha ha

maybe it's a program that runs in the background that you never see, like the popup ad programs that install themselves on your computer. close all the applications possible and see what happens

 

Nero Imagedrive?

DAEMON Tools?

 

If it's Nero Imagedrive, you have to open it up and say "disable nero imagedrive"

 

heh, it was actually my Clone CD, aparantly they wont let you start the program if its installed so I had to totally uninstall it, oh well

 

Are you kidding me? You cant play doom3 with clonecd installed?

 

nope, Farcray either, though you can install it afterwards and play it since Frycry works with Clone CD on my computer since I installed it afte rI installed Farcry

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard btw.

Here is a quick synopsis of Doom 3:

Door opens...
...ammo is across room...
...you think, "I could use some ammo, I'm going to walk over there"
...get near ammo...lights go out and stupid zombies appear from nowhere...you kill them
...next room has a health pack in it.

Repeat.

<i'm just leaving mars city but other that graphics wise, I'm not impressed >
