Whats involved with the swap? Also, I have a MT and why in the world would you swap it out for an AT?

(well i've read) A/T with a TC and a tranny cooler is lot stronger in launching and faster in the 1/4 than lets say RA gears with 300whp, so im looking at taking the car to the track alot in 2005 and want something basically for track use, i dont plan to road race or auto-x so i can give up the 5spd.. but im looking @ cost mostly, im sure someone wants a 5spd or has been looking for one so we can both save some money here

It's really not any faster than a MT in the 1/4. I have VF30, STi injectors, Uppipe, TBE, Ecutek tuned and I ran a 13.8. I might be able to run a 13.6 but it's pushing it. Granted the car isn't dyno tuned yet, only road tuned. I also have an upgraded TC, stall at about 4200 rpm and the TC lockup switch. The only other way to make the AT faster is to modified the valve body on the tranny. But that's downtime for your car and like $500. But I'm happy with my car the way it is.

Even with an auto, you can still beat the CRAP out of most people at autox's and track days.

he was also the guy who said that there is alot of lag from a FMIC when drag racing and that i wouldn't running anything lower than a 13.2 So yea i wouldn't take anything he says seriously.
