Surprisingly good Domino's pizza tonight. Had the artisan Italian sausage and pepperoni. Not bad, not bad at all,... especially with the garlic bread crust.

Haha, nice. I get fresh hatch chillis from new Mexico, home grown serrano, red jalepenos, habeneros, and pablanos, roast them, dry, then grind. Made tacos for dinner, never warned the family lol. Best tacos for me, most hilarious reactions from them.

That's why I only get eggs from virgin hens.

correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't an (unfertilized) egg just a chicken's period sealed in a shell?

... that being said I still grub on tons of eggs every day (no yolks)

No, the egg is in the period, the egg is not THE period. Also, the yolk is not the baby chicken.

I thought the yolk was the "food" for the embryo.

Correct. The egg is a single cell, the yolk is the nucleus (if I'm remembering my terminology correctly).
