I was surprised with Cain's win

 

Really? I thought he has shown much improvement over the past three starts...

 

His prior start was stellar also, but that was against the Padres. To me this one against the Cubs validated the fact it seems like he has turned a corner.

 

Yeah, I do agree that the Padres didn't prove a lot but against the Cubs it proved a lot more. I'm thinking he's getting a feel for the game again which would be great cause then I'm hoping he surpasses Peavy and takes over the 4th spot on the rotation and either Peavy gets bumped to 5th or out of the rotation altogether.

 

Damn another close game......Cueto's pitching was on point though!
