Looks like Don Mattingly and the dodgers have "mutually" parted way. I doubt it was mutual though. We'll see if it was the Mattingly that was the bad manager or if it's the dodgers organization that's to blame.

Now I can kind of see why Mattingly would keep pitching Kershaw and Greinke well past the 7th inning with 100 or so pitches when you don't have a bullpen to save your life. I would place more of the blame on the GM and VP than Mattingly since he has no control over player personnel.

 

AGREED COMPLETELY!!! This is why they have to stay in, and they both know each outing is going to be long.

BUT mattingly does some stupid "tactics" like putting in a fast pinch running with no outs......... and the inning ends with the runner still on first
