Edwards - Bust
Swain - Who are you again?

49ers will pick up a baller in the WR position next year... and probably another DE/Speed Rushing LB.

In any case, I'm happy for the 49ers. Definitely showed us that excellence is back, and we should expect it.
Agreed.

In addition, 1-13 on 3rd down conversions CANNOT fly in an NFC Championship game.

It's one thing to get a beat down. It's a whole another story to give the game away. The bigger mistake by Williams was the put return fumble off his knee. He had no business being that close if he wasn't going to catch the ball.

3rd down conversation was a team issue. Crabby?! hello...

There was at least two interception opportunities that they were making all year until yesterday. One of these or the William punt return was the difference.

I hate when they have to say "It is a team game, so we're pointing the finger at ourselves." No! BS! There were dumb plays made by dumb players!

eh, as Gary Radnich would say...It's entertainment, and i was entertained. I'm a huge Niner fan, but I won't let this loss bring me down.

It sure looked like the niners were playing conservative football with a 4 point lead. No team should ever play conservatively with a 4 point lead. Manning had 3 chances to lead a game winning victory once the clock got under 4 minutes. That means the niners defense was gonna get tired. It's a testament to their defense that they held him in check and a special teams screw up ended it.

I didnt agree with a lot of playcalling last night and as for the 1-13 conversion, we dont have a Victor Cruz on our team. The guy single handedly took the ball down the field with manning multiple times while we couldnt find anyone open. I give all the credit to their secondary.

Wish we would've ran the ball more because it looked to be working. Oh well. Next year!

When he is comfortable and in the pocket and has time to throw, he is pretty good which is great. Unfortunately that wasn't really the case tonight
wet ball, wet field, giants secondary. I saw him do his job and the throws that he missed, he was throwing into some tight coverage. Give us a Calvin Johnson and I bet Alex will look like a top 5 qb. We literally have zero threat at the wide reciever position.

Tom Brady is the only NFL player that I would cuss out if I ever saw the person - the Pats are gonna get deja vu-ed!
