I've only seen the first half, but every time Smith got sacked, it was because he was hesitant and indecisive and didn't get the ball out of his hands after the dropback. They know the Ravens pass rush is stellar, gotta get the ball out quick.

All the Ravens did was rush and play the clock. But our O line was not so good tonight. Would have been a really nice win, but oh well as long as they bounce back from it.

For as much as the naysayers claimed this would be the "deciding game" they really didn't do that badly.

My question is: where was our blitz for Flacco?

Especially considering they were robbed of a touchdown (called back for holding) and a perfectly played interception (pass interference called).

The amount of pressure they got on Alice Smith was ridiculous though. Now they know what to clean up before the post season.

had nothing to do with Smith be hesitant... Their secondary were covering our WR well

was going to say this. their secondary > our secondary. Our O line got exposed and once again we made little use of our tight ends. Ref calls were bull**** too just like the Steelers game. The negative part is they did all this without Ray Lewis in the game so their defense is definitely much better than ours.

It almost felt like we gave up in the second half to me but I guess that happens when they were sacking Alex at will. I could come up with a 100 excuses but we got beat by a better team. Hopefully we now have a reality check of what we are going to be facing in the playoffs.

you'd think they'd learn by now how to counter the blitz with the preseason game against the Saints...let's just hope they correct it in time before we face the Steelers in a couple of weeks.

Yea, he'll be out a few games... but I mean... the best situation for a team, personally to get injured is what the 49ers have. Could lose a couple games, still be in the playoffs, Willis will be back by the end of the season. So it's still all good from here.

Can they please do a play action bootleg at the goal line? So they can score a TD?!?!

I complain all the time about Vernon Davis, again, another bomb, another drop. He isn't an elite weapon, not down the field. I'll pick Tony Gonzales any day over him.

And Alex missed Ginn twice down the side line. Could have been an easy 14 pts right there. Instead it's 1 fg and sacked and no points at the end of the half.
