Wow, what a 4th down TD pass by Alex Smith, that just stunned the Lions! 5-1!

How to be a sour grape after a handshake. LoL, the scuffle at the end is hilarious, Schwartz lost his cool, he even yelled across the field after Harbaugh threw his red flag on a score "Learn the rules"

Serves him right, and on the field when that happened I will agree with Harbaugh and his "Get out of my face!" comment. LoL

Sorry Schwartz can't handle the tomahawk handshake Harbaugh gave. LoL

Most of his passes today were overthrown or high. The only solid pass I saw was at the end with the TD pass.

Great job by the 49ers today. Seemed like the Lions quit at the end when they had the ball back with 1 min to go. No sense of urgency when the clock kept ticking.

Lucky win I think, Alex wasnt doing as well as last week. Our running team and defense won the game. Hell of a game though, and a win is a win in my book.

The scrap at the end is sooo lame, I've been watching Shwartz all season and he makes snide remarks and dirty faces all the time. . .so what, you got a "Hell yeah we beat the Lions!" style handshake and now your butt hurt and look like an ***. I like how Harbaugh handled it and said he will not apologize.

Alex needs to clean up his passing, he's still overthrowing his receivers.

It's amazing how the 49ers won even with Alex doin' good, but he's good enough!

I think it was Bob Costas earlier saying that Harbaugh & Schwartz are like kindered spirits in that they both are very Fiery Personality type guys and show tons of emotion.

Agreed, I was pretty shocked seeing Stafford not hurrying everybody to the line to spike the ball and give themselves some time to work with. It's okay though as we won & handed them their first loss of the season.

Harbaugh was pumped that they just won. This was a HUGE game for the Niners as this was a giant statement as to just how good our team could be and is right now. Even with this Win there is still work to be done and areas to improve, but I'm impressed by how well we're playing. We've had talent we're finally putting it together.

Harbaugh is ABSOLUTELY the RIGHT Coach for our team. Harbaugh for Coach of the Year!

The biggest thing I've been seeing from Alex this year is he's not making as many poor decisions and mistakes. While he may not be winning the games for us, he's also not losing the games for us as he's done in the past. He's improving under Harbaugh. Listening to 95.7 "The Game" the other day they were saying "If Harbaugh is doing this much with Alex Smith imagine what he could be doing with a better QB?"

Harbaugh shoved him within the first 5 yards. It was totally legal.
