Eh, i still have some faith in the 49ers... although starting out 0-2, the chances of making the playoffs is about 15%.

49ers control the clock, and play some solid D (pretty hard against Brees) and maybe somethin' will happen. I did enjoy that interview, a lot of cutting off and a lot of stuff to spit at... hell I KNOW Mike Martz's Offense could capitalize (sure, 49ers aren't a gun offense, but just look at the guys at the positions!!!!) Don't forget Marshal Faulk... Gore CAN be just as badass, but he isn't given the chance.

Martz let Warner make stars, I doubt Raye can do the same thing. Time after time we've seen philosophy of Raye.. We're behind, we pass the ball. But if you noticed the few runs while behind, the runs are good. So stick with the plan, running is still possible. I don't like the "We're grinding them first half, but we pass all day second half" BS that Raye gives.

49ers do have advantages of a fast n' capable 2TE, 2 WR, 1RB team. I just don't see it with Raye, or with Smith...

Highlight of the rest of the season, and in my opinion. Smith isn't our QB, we figured that out after he blew a pass to Norris. 49ers suck, and I mean SUCK ON OFFENSE (amazing) at changing the momentum. 49ers's D did a couple 3 and outs in the 2nd half, and the offense failed to put up a score.

I like that Singletary is upset, he should be. He expects more of his team, but I don't think they have the QB for it, or the O-coordinator.

Offensive coordinator and/or the QB need to go. Smith doesn't have what it takes. Give me Shaun Hill. Sorry, but statistics show.

^ Singletary being upset is one thing, but being a douche to the media, who aren't even asking difficult questions, cutting off their questions before they even finish the question, VALID questions at that, shows he can't handle the increasing pressure to win. Being head coach, one of the qualifications is learning how to deal with the media. He clearly can't do that. He's trying to bully the media so as to avoid answering questions.

Hell, I'm sure he asked KPIX to take down that video of his interview with Dennis O'Donnell. Good thing it's still on the SJ Mercury site.

It's only a matter of time before he blows up again on the players and the media, and players stop playing for him.

Very disappointed with the way Singletary conducted himself in that interview. By acting like that he is setting up himself and the team for more criticism and scrutiny. If (and I hope not, I'm a die hard Niner fan) they go out and just get crushed and the offense looks pathetic again. Oh damn.

You have to seriously throw Raye or Smith or both out of the window if they cannot put more than 3 TD's a game with the weapons the 49ers have.

lol Alex Smith sucks, couldn't even throw a simple 5 yard pass to wide open Frank Gore. Threw it too far in front of him and got intercepted lmao

I'm laughing at all the mistakes the 49ers are playing. They need to play mistake free football against a team like that. Doesn't look like it's happening and it's showing.

The defense CAN stop the offense of the Saints, but the offense sucks, Alex sucks.
