oh and as for anyone that comes on here screaming NATE DAVIS!
get a grip! the dude is dyslexic!!! expecting him to learn a playbook and lead the team is going to be extremely difficult
he's a good second stringer since he can be counted on to run a hand full of plays but to throw him in with 100% confidence... nope!
I'm dyslexic too btw

Nate Davis can play, but it's a difficult path for him for sure. Honestly though, could he really be that much worse?

^^^^ I know he's on the PS I was just noting his down falls since so many fans always seem to think he's a golden ticket of sorts... and he's NOT!

For all the Alex Smith lovers out there, now that Jimmy Raye's been fired, what excuse will u guys make for him now if he still plays the way he does?
"Oh he just got a new coordinator, give him some time."
That BS excuse isn't going to cut it anymore. He's been in the league for 6 years. Either he has it or he doesn't. I'm not as bad as zumnwrx is, but I'll say it again. Alex Smith is, at best, a 2nd string QB. That's it.
I say let him play out the rest of the season and that's it. Because the other 2 QB the niners have are even worse than Smith is.

I was just saying that Alex Smith couldn't be blamed completely. I don't LOVE the guy, I had wished they had gotten a better QB besides David Carr in the off season. I was hoping he'd at least keep the Niners IN the damn game.

Totally agree with you. This is garbage that a team with the kind of talent level as the Niners is completely missing their opportunity to get a winning season and get in to the playoffs. We've shown that we can go toe-to-toe with some of the best teams in the NFL (we did it in Week 2 against the Saints and we did it last year against the Vikings). However, we just don't seem to have the Killer Instinct that allows us to Win the DAMN Games! This is ridiculous that we are pretty much the ONLY team in the NFC West that ISN'T rebuilding and we can't take advantage of that opportunity.
Speaking of the Raiders, I really wish the Niners had gotten Hue Jackson when he was available.

In the 3rd or 4th quarter yesterday, Alex Smith was under pressure and passed it to Gore (or someone else, I forgot), who was standing near the sidelines. Funny thing was that they were standing there completely still, and Smith's pass was almost overthrown. I mean, dude, he's standing still.

Well, gotta say one thing about Raider Nation. At least they don't have a large number of fair weathered fans. Then again, I can say that about anyone who roots for a Bay Area sports team, but the Raiders fans, I gotta hand it to them for their loyalty, albeit, sometimes terribly obnoxious. Loyal nonetheless.
