in all honesty, before i bought the STI I Used to drive a rolla and had no car payment. Didn't spend the extra money then and i can afford to spend more on a system now but do not see the point. To some my system is overkill in areas really, who truly "needs" 4 ssd's paired up in raid 0?

It's nice, I can be rendering a video AND dicking around on the internet. AT THE SAME TIME!

No one and no program can handle my 32 gigs of RAM. It becomes pointless after a while.

Say hello to my newest server I built for my house. It's 4U Rackcase from Rosewill.

Core i7 3770K - Not OCed
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
16GB of 1600 DDR3
MSI HD7870 (Because **** Nvidia. ATI4LIFE)
256GB SSD for C: (Windows 7 64bit Ultimate)
Hightpoint PCIE 4x Raid Card (2720SGL)
- Which currently has 6 3TB drives in it running Raid 5. Might get 2 more and do Raid 6 so that I have less chance of losing all my stuff.
(2) 2TB drives that will run my security cameras for the house

This is going to have all my media (some TV shows, lots of car related videos, about 490 HD Movies (so far) and some flac music)
This will be used to record security camera footage
And it will also be used to play iRacing and maybe some other games...

Right now it just sits at work rippin' blurays to 7-9GB MKVs (which takes about 35 per disc)

Thinking about adding another drive or using 1 of the 2 2tb drives to back up windows from my other PC and netbook. Likely will go this route.

That's a good build for what you are using it for. At first I was like windows 7 what??? Then I saw iracing lol. I actually use my own w2k12 workstation converted OS which makes it extremely resoucre lite when gaming.

Linux is fun!!! :3 I run Debian on my remote server because I use it as a vps and manage all my clients stuff on it. Also really good for online imaging. If you want I can post a ftp link or something for my s2k12 workstation build if you'd like to try how stable it is when it comes to tasks you are doing
