Yeah. I thought I could just copy the image from my old 1TB drive to the new 3TB. But it didn't work. So I formatted the 3TB with the new protocol (I can't remember what it's called) and manually transferred all the data.It works fine now, but the swap was a PITA.
I want a FrozenQ dual bay Res with a black helix and white light.

And go with a pair of Swiftech MCP35X PWM Pumps.
But that will be if I add GPUs to the loop. It's works pretty good as it is.
I've hit full load a couple times. Usually rendering videos.

I haven't had any problems with mine.
The weird part is seeing that it's 75% full and freaking out until I realize that I still have 750GB of free space.

I'm a value / money fan... lately that's been intel CPU + AMD GPU.
People talk about AMD drivers being a problem, and they were in the 4xxx days. Lately I haven't had any real issue with them, but I don't run multiple cards. I've seen some complaints from people running crossfire, but I've never had any major problems with them, even running 2 monitors in my WoW days.

They are somewhat less reliable than 1 platter drives just due to the extra components.
If you can fit what you need on one platter drives, do it. I don't have lots of stuff to store, so I use one platter drives. I still keep 3 copies of anything important. One live, one backed up nightly and one external drive that I image every few months and take to work to keep in my cabinet in case my house burns down.
Also, if you buy hard drives from a major PC supplier like Dell or HP, you will be less likely to have problems.

FWIW this system is on basically 24/7 365. It does double duty, Gaming rig and file server/htpc so really triple duty.
Have had the Rat since it came out coolest mouse i have ever had the pleasure of owning.
Exactly, the systems over there and on other computer sites are insane. Its crazy how much some peeps will spend to build a computer only to spend that again in a couple years. Must be nice to have that kind of money.
How much money would you have for computers if you drove a Corolla and spent all the extra money you spent on your car payment / car / mods on computers instead?
