Yea you're right, watching a fight is exciting and entertaining....

but thats not the same thing as what you said:

I dont think ppl loosing their life is funny. There are times when its just pure stupidity and they earn a Darwin Award, otherwise not so much.

Do you think someone would find it exciting if you ****ed up at your job and you got fired? I wouldnt think so because theres no reason to

When I see some of the **** that is dealt to normal citizens, I am damn glad these retards with badges loose their careers. We **** up at work, we get fired. They **** up at work, and someone is in a coma, dead, almost dead, in jail longer than usual cuz it's all up to the cops story. If they can lie or cover up under oath I hope they loose a lot more than their jobs. This is why these videos need to be shown. Obviously something in the system isn't right. Justice needs to get served and that includes officers when they screw up.

Agreed. Accountability needs to go both ways, including equal punishment for police officers (in the event of manslaughter, accidental/unnecessary use of lethal force, etc).

If you can't form a compelling argument (to all the haters in this thread), then there are pretty much two explanations to your problem: 1. you're wrong or 2. you're not smart. In the event of either, don't post.

we're not arguing with you that there are or are not bad cops out there. we think you're overreacting for being so emotional about the injustices of police officers. you act like you're the first one to ever discover that some cops are bad. welcome to the party, complaining about cops is so 80s . it's just funny that you will defend this to no end. and all the while, we all agree with your general message... you just suck at constructing a coherent and articulate argument. you suck so much at it that you have to make two or three independent threads just to drive your one-sided point of view across. more and more of the same videos doesn't convince anyone of isht unless they are already thinking that way (irrationally). instead of continuously showing negative videos (which we all know exist and probably seen alot of them), research with facts and incorporate that with how certain parties ruin the image of police officers. also, you being defensive in this thread isn't helping. the more defensive you get, the more the wolves will make fun of you. lighten up. this is supposed to be fun.

naivete > you. of course i realize this. thank you for pointing out the obvious. my only point was that, by even posting in this thread, i'm no better than any of you, but at least i know that, and that its ok to laugh at oneself from time to time.

I'm not trying to be better than anyone, I'm just pointing out one side of a job. You can like it, hate it, **** on it, I don't really care, but as long as you read it, that's fine with me. I just find it more amusing now that it irks so many people, like they all take it personal. Coulda just left it, but it's interesting that there have been so much discussion over multiple threads now. I post crap about how horrible the government is, but no one really gave a ****. I post about the mistakes of so called "honorable men" doing their job, and all of a sudden I have a tidal wave coming at me. I don't really care, I just like riding the wave .

I reiterate, it is all true that every human makes mistakes, but the mistakes of officers are mental (which intrigues a psychologist such as I) affecting other people (life, jail, physical trauma, jobs). It's one thing to **** up yourself and you have to fix it yourself. It's another thing to screw up someone other than your own life, and they have to live with it. Honorable men have their honorable status (plenty of LEOs do) but the ones who get caught should be held accountable (for more than just themselves). We are in a system that is supposedly solid because everyone of these LEOs are doing their duty, but if its corrupt then people need to make noise about it 'til something is fixed.

Hmm.. I want to make sure I get the insult the right way - are you saying that your naivete is greater than me, or naivete in general?
