from what I understand Jason is having trouble selecting a date that works well for everyone.

Hopefully he'll post to that effect...

Yeah, I dropped the ball. Between the holidays, some family stuff that came up and the confusion of trying to organize a bunch of 'maybes' to all come together on a set date was a challenge.

The problem lies in this: the person coming out from Modesto to do this prefers to work Fri/Sat. Sunday is doable, but not ideal. The spot we were going to do it at was best as a Sunday. Then there was the challenge of trying to get everyone to commit to being there as a trip from Modesto for 2 cars is a waste of everyones time and effort.

So, this isn't out of the realm of possibility, but I need to come up with a way to satisfy everyone (as much as possible) and ensure no ones time is wasted.

Stay tuned.

I'm more than willing to drive to Modesto so he won't have to come out to us.

I'd be open to that.. I'd just need to know what i'd need to bring.. I'd like mine painted that good flat black! Is it going to be like a seminar and we all walk through it or we paying to have it done? Again, i'm in i just need to know the details...

If someone can PM me that info that would be helpful.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of us going out to him. Modesto isn't that far, and it would be a nice excuse to get a little caravan going.

If theres enough commitment I can work out a date for a trip out there. I believe 5-6 sets a day is feasible, anything more and it would be a 2 day event.

Carpooling is a good idea as is a caravan so we have the 'strength in numbers' thing going as we will stick out like a sore thumb on the way out there.

This is basically what we are planning, except instead of a few friends, make it a minor i-club event/alcohol pot-luck

I have a barbeque also

The expert is just to smooth out any possible glitches I imagine. Like having a trained mechanic help you change your oil, never know when you might learn something cool
