Headlight painting pics.

I'm not much of a photographer, so I didn't take too many pics, but here's a few from our headlight painting bonanza:

We ended up finishing pretty late, so I had to take pictures of my finished headlights pretty late in the evening.

I've got a couple shots of LxJLthr's car, I'll post them if he says it's ok.

Many thanks to Spoolin415 for organizing this, to Josh* for his hard work all day on a Saturday and to LxJLthr and ptownBob for tolerating my Subaru noobness; I had a blast hanging out with all you guys.

*I forgot Josh's screen name here on i-club.

haha no, but I should have!

I think I remember reading somewhere on here that the Shamwow leaves streaks or something on cars when you use it to dry them. I could be remembering wrong, though.

you did it wrong.

you are supposed to cut a 1" by 1" square off the shamwow, then put it right in the middle on top of your hood.
a minute later, everything is soaked up!

true story

I don't have any after shots of my car yet since mother nature sucks my ***, but everyones headlights came out great. Josh (JmpnJimbo) does a great job and takes his time to ensure the job is done right. Get in touch with him if you're looking to paint/clear your headlights. Thanks again for all the hard work.

Thanks to Yuri for the gracious drive to Modesto, thanks for Bob and his family for the use of their driveway and garage. Thanks to Mark for pushing the envelope on what can and can't get you thrown out of a Border's.

It was a fun day with the added bonus of making some new friends. Thanks again guys.

Just noticed this thread! I been sleeping the whole day pretty much It was a long day indeed; met up with Spoolin at 6:30 am and came back home around midnight But the day was still awesome primarily thanks to all the cool people in the group.

Now, only if I did not get a bum LED indicator bulb (it went out shortly after install), which means I have to pull the lights out again to replace it and check all the wiring to make sure that's not the problem

I will post my own before and after pics in a bit
