Official Giants Baseball 2011 Thread!
It isn't likely Beltran will re-sign with the Giants next year, unless they win the World Series. But even then, him and his agent will hold out and ask for big money and a long term contract, something the Giants don't like giving out nowadays. Scott Boras is his agent, and he also represents Barry Zito....

According to the Chronicle, Bill Hall has been designated for assignment.
"The Giants designated Bill Hall for assignment to clear a spot for Beltran on the 40-man roster. A 25-man spot will need to be cleared."

pretty much what Juanito said. Public transportation is the best way to get there, for me at least. I like the atmosphere on the muni when its packed with giants fans before and after the game. If you do drive, there are private lots on bryant, brannan, and the embarcadero (alittle cheaper than ballpark parking). Beers are $9+ at the yard, we usually sneak in a flask of something.
Bleacher tickets are my favorite.
now my favorite, the food. Garlic fries are a must. The crab sandwich behind the bleachers was made by Jesus, its delicious but expensive $14 to be exact.
throw on the black and orange and have fun. Guaranteed you will be back to the yard at least a few more times before the months end. Youll be hooked.

when i went a couple weeks ago we parked in a lot around Beale (sp?) and Bryant. It was only $12 or $14 and the walk was less than 10mins.
Yea beer was REDIK! $9+!
My idea for next time is to bring a camel-back and wear it on my back under my sweatshirt

Nice seats. Its foul ball territory so be alert. I spend at least $60 everytime I go to the yard with my lady (food, beer between the both of us and I have a tradition that I have to buy a pretzel with mustard lol)
