Permanent hearing loss while wearing ear plugs?!?! That's crazy. I did have my ear plugs off during the first lap and briefly during the race just to experience the noise.
Yeah, that's what my friend said. Either the plugs were crap or he wasn't wearing them properly. I've seen the Ferrari F1 cars run at Sonoma during the Ferrari Challenge and the sound was epic, but I didn't suffer any damage. Now, the start line with 24(?) cars at full throttle would be different.

Especially since the grandstands at the Start/Finish straight would be like a bowl and just amplify the noise. I did see some people at T10 Grandstands without ear plugs, but they were covering their ears with their hands the whole race.

Ha! I just noticed the Infinity logo/pit light thingie. They're not called lollipops anymore so I'm calling it a pit light thingie.

Love it! Ever seen top fuel dragsters? A lot like that only that's a whole field of them. Top fuel is the most intense car events I've ever been around - your entire body vibrates and even with plugs in your ear drums still vibrate.

That's only for Vettel's car. It takes 2-3x longer for Webber.

I want to one day. Just like Nascar at a super speedway.

Lewis Hamilton needs to get over Nicole. Wonder if Nico is teasing him about it. I know I would.
