Almost every crop grown is genetically modified in one way or another. Without GM we would not be able to grow most of the crops we have. Cali would be bust without agriculture. The fact is there is no scientific proof that GMOs are bad. Some may be but not all. A generic GMO free label would tell you nothing. GM includes making crops pest resistant or frost and drought tolerant. Maybe we should use pesticides instead or burn petroleum to keep them warm. I'm tired of be told that everything is going to kill me or make me fat. To much fear mongering. I personally believe fear and worry are more harmful than what you eat or drink , obviously within reason. Just my opinion.

I filled in for Ron Paul also.

I can't believe 30 passed too. I swear that money will just disappear into thin air.

So your solution is to give up the fight and not even try to fight these companies?

I understand that tomatoes are cross bred with other types of tomatoes to maximize yield, resist pests and molds. I'm OK with eating this type of tomato. I do this myself in my garden in my backyard (cross breed tomatoes)

What I'm not ok with is eating an overbloated salmon that has been crossed with eel genes to make the fish as big as possible. There's a reason Europe has banned these types of foods.

So instead of kicking Monsanto down a peg we allowed them to do whatever they want. Awesome guys, good work.

Not thin air. Rather a personal jet in mid air.

So kicking our crippled economy while it's down by passing an impotent law is a good idea? This law would have no consequences for Monsanto. Monsanto is already in bed with the FDA. I'm not saying we should just roll over but there are way more important issues at hand.

Dammit! Had to settle for a nice juicy burger. Oh well a few beers will erase the pain.
