Almost every crop grown is genetically modified in one way or another. Without GM we would not be able to grow most of the crops we have. Cali would be bust without agriculture. The fact is there is no scientific proof that GMOs are bad. Some may be but not all. A generic GMO free label would tell you nothing. GM includes making crops pest resistant or frost and drought tolerant. Maybe we should use pesticides instead or burn petroleum to keep them warm. I'm tired of be told that everything is going to kill me or make me fat. To much fear mongering. I personally believe fear and worry are more harmful than what you eat or drink , obviously within reason. Just my opinion.

I understand that tomatoes are cross bred with other types of tomatoes to maximize yield, resist pests and molds. I'm OK with eating this type of tomato. I do this myself in my garden in my backyard (cross breed tomatoes)
What I'm not ok with is eating an overbloated salmon that has been crossed with eel genes to make the fish as big as possible. There's a reason Europe has banned these types of foods.
So instead of kicking Monsanto down a peg we allowed them to do whatever they want. Awesome guys, good work.

Who in their right mind would vote yes on prop 30 and 39? The tax burden in this state is already at a criminal level. Say goodbye to cheaper internet prices. I love the way they use the schools to justify new taxes. If you think giving more money to the school board translates to better education for our children then you're delusional at best. What the f is wrong with the average voter. Are people really this effing stupid.
