The Official BAM Photo Thread 2012
Only brought my mirrorless with me, so just a handful of HDR shots here. All at 5 frames @ 2/3 EV spacing. Pardon the large size, btw. Resized them for Facebook, and nothing else at the current moment.

There was at least the one wreck, I heard rumors of a second but it's unconfirmed. We had over 400 cars. By far the largest meet we've had. They had to use the parking lot by the campground which we've never occupied before.
For sure. Back in the day when I had my miata I could blast through this road with ease because the car was so small and light. Going through it smoothly with the STI was a challenge. Bigger and heavier. Poor guy. At least you can upgrade now!

I really dont get why bicyclist pick the MOST sketchy a$$ roads to have their "marathons" on. I got real close to a couple of them only cuz they were in the middle of the road. They need to share too.
Among other things, RV's should NOT be allowed on that road, almost got side swiped in one of the turns cuz the RV couldn't keep it in his lane.
The wildlife up there is amazing too! I have never seen a wild tarantula in CA until yesterday. Almost hit like 5 squirrels, a flock of quail, a turkey vulture and almost ran over that tarantula.

It was great to see so many Subies in one place at the same time. It was my first time at a Subaru meet and I thought it was a great event! Amazingly enough my wife and I drove up in separate cars and we did not see a single Subaru on the road to and from the event and I was Sure I would see some of you on the way there !
