are the suby bucks in your name? if not the best place is annapolis subaru, Jackie is awesome.
if they are in your name, go to genuinesubuaruparts or what ever it is the Jamie (subie gal) works for.
I don't like subaruparts.com b/c it's so difficult to talk to someone.

Why not install a crank seal (806733030), cam seals (806732150), a water pump gasket (21114AA051), a thermostat (21200AA072) and a thermostat gasket (21236AA010) while you're in there? Oh, hell...get the Crucial thermostat, and be done with that.
I believe your timing belt,13028AA230, has superceded from 13028AA181, so either number should be good.
Damn part numbers...they're going through my brain which is why I'm posting this at 12:28am...

+1 - this is excellent advice. Don't do the job halfway - these other items are very inexpensive and need to be changed at the same time. While it's all apart, do it all and save the hassle of having to tear it apart down the road for a $1.79 gasket that blows...
Haha.. This post is a sign of a true parts man, a rare breed that is very appreciated by people like me. There is nothing like dealing with someone who knows their stuff.

you can see what South Coast Subaru's prices are. They pricematch basically anything, Ferdie is a cool guy, and you get free shipping.
Better that any other Subaru dealer's done for me

It's a license plate bracket which uses the JDM holes in the bumper, and then mount the license plate to the bracket.
It covers the other holes, and keeps your license plate from rubbing the bumper.
^ yup the true parts masters are truly under-appreciated. thanks for always hooking it up with info and good prices, Roo! and on top of that, the enthusiasm and awesome customer service you provide is unmatched.

Believe me I know Steven's Creek Subaru are a bunch of stooges... but for a couple of $3 parts (floor mat hook) I figured I'd try to support the local guys.
Don't worry, it won't happen again
