Cool Oakland A's Tailgate/Meet

since we already know there's some interest in this event, we gotta see what's most accommodating, schedule-wise, for us all. again, here are the ticket specials.
are we looking to do a weekday game? or does sat or sun work better?

any input would be helpful. thanks, y'all.

A's meet

An A's game meet BBQ and game sounds like so much fun.

I go to as many games as possible and to make this work we will have to be flexible on the day of the week. Night games are good but i bet since people work it will be hard to get there early enough to have fun pre-game.

Tickets are easy though. It is not well know but you can buy $4 seat for any day as long as its not against NY,Bos, or SF. All you have to do if show a AAA card and you get half off view level (normally $8).

Parking is $10 i think but i never park there so don't quote me on that. I park in the dirt lot that is across the free-way and as long as its not a busy game it is empty and free. We could have are meet there and then not pay for parking and have the lot mostly to ourselves. (not during NY, BOS, SF they charge for it then)

well i think that is info that might help set this up. I recomend that you do not try to do it on two doller wed nights either. They are getto and sell out the $2 seats some times and there is always more people there on those nights

I park at the Coliseum BART station. Hehe. I've been doing that lately.

I voted for a weekend game bcause I don't work weekends. However, a Tues. night game would be cheap and fun.

$2 wed nights suck every one is getto. trust me i have seats for every wed game there is i buy them pre-season

we should go with the $4 AAA price tuesday night or thursday half the people means we can all sit in the same area in good seats no problem nd better parking so we can have tailgate and pre game fun

I'd rather do a weekday game, and I like that AAA idea (its what I usually use)

well...although the actual votes are 50/50, it looks like the majority are down for a tues nite game. i'll have to bow outta the next two tues nite games since i just signed up for summer school. my classes are on tues&thur nites fr: june 29th til aug 5th.

IMHO, full-on, hardcore tailgatin' for a nite game is cool only if ya have the day off. otherwise, it's a case 'o beer & a bag o' chips fr: the nearby am/pm or foodmaxx @6:30 after grinding out an 8 or 9 hr workday. i ain't knockin' it...because it's all about getting together & having a good time!

FYI: if y'all wanna do a tailgate/meet on your preferred weeknight, the upcoming tues nite games are june 29 @7:05 vs. Ana and july 27 @7:05 vs. Sea.

i, myself, am planning to hit up a couple of next weekend's games vs. the giants. (after work on fri, june 25 @7:05p and on sat, june 26 @6:05p -- most likely w/ a li'l pre-game fun!) next, me & a handful o' co-workers are gonna tailgate the day game on thur, july 1st @12:35p vs. Ana.

also, my brother was supposed to look into the bbq terrace for an upcoming game for our momma's office folk. i'll find out the cost & what it includes if y'all would wanna do something like that as well.

anyway, shoot me a pm if any of y'all are interested in the games i'm set to do.

p.s. can we get a li'l love fr: our relief pitchers?!? damn, our away record sux!

Bump for momentum vs. our neighbors across da bay

a much needed win today @anaheim to come away w/ a series split. plus, we could use some added juice for the giants to deal w/.

oh, and i'll be watching fri's & sat's games fr: the comforts of home. but sunday, i'll be rooting fr: the stands of the Net'. anyone else going?

also, on thur, july 1st: me & buncha co-workers will be tailgating b4 the 12:35 game vs. the angels. we're hoping to sit in the mvp seats behind the dugout.

anyway...wassup w/ plans for an i-club tailgate?!?
