o2 sensor
So today I was working on my car at my buddys shop.We hook up the diagnostic computer to my car and get the codes that triggered my cel,it says bad o2 sensor and bank 1 lean.
My question is does anyone have experience with any of the aftermarket sensors without connectors? Or should I just get a oem o2 sensor from the dealer. My other question is will the computer adjust the parameters for bank 1 once the o2 sensor is replaced,or do I need to take it to a shop and have it looked at?

stick with oem connectors.
trust me. the $10 or so saved cant make up the hassles when your ghetto connectors/connecting job fails a few months down the road...
wait... your 05 should still be under warranty???? or you got some "ahem" aftermarket parts...

Let me guess... a coated header?
The OEM sensor I got was about $180, so it's not only $10 more haha
If you are sure you could get a generic O2 sensor to work, go for it. I didn't want to take the risk and trouble, so I went the easier way. OEM.
If you really have a coated heander, run your car for a couple days at least, so that the coating would not ruin your new sensor again.
