I don't understand where the Glock hate comes from. Sure, some people may not like them due to personal preference, but to knock the gun for trivial things like claims of the guns not being reliable, firing on their own, etc... That's just plain ignorance. Of all pistols out there, Glock reigns supreme in terms of reliability and there are cold hard facts to back that up. I'm not saying that Sigs aren't reliable even though I've owned 3 SIG lemons. There are def many pistols out there that are more accurate then a Glock, thats not to say that Glocks aren't accurate because they are, but there are pistols out there that have the edge over Glocks in terms of accuracy just like Glock has the edge in reliability.

I think it's funny that I used to be a huge SIG fanboy and used to blindly HATE Glocks. I didn't like Glocks because I thought they were cheap because of their cost, I didn't like the fact that everyone and their mother had one, and I hated their gang reputation... After owning my sigs for a couple years I got really fed up with the fact that they would malfunction ALL THE DAMN TIME! My friend insisted that I shoot his full size Glock .45 (Glock 21), as much as I hated the idea and tried to resist it, I fell in love with that gun and officially owned one about a month later. Since then I sold all my SIG's and have obtained 6 Glocks (which all vary in size and caliber). I own a few other pistols too, but I mainly prefer my Glock 21 for almost anything.

Wow, that kinda came out of nowhere... It was a child of my boredom I guess... lol.

glock ftw.

you can drop a glock off of a roof and it wont go off. a glock WILL NOT FIRE UNLESS YOU PULL THE TRIGGER!! PERIOD!!!

I carry glocks all day. Glock 22 and Glock 27

next on my list is a glock 31 .357 sig =)

But I still don't believe that's the bullet that caused the injury.
I'm tempted to post this on Gunatics to get more elaborate responses from people who have to deal with that crap all the time...

I just can't see that round mushrooming like that in that particular situation.

daniel, good shot right here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff4XuPtAOUk

And the bullet would NOT musroom like that from pointblank, and hitting soft tissue.

a hollow point would still fully penetrate that hand and cause one hell of an exit wound.

dont rack the slide like this either hahahaha idiots

What was wrong with that demo? I am a semi-gun newb but he had his finger away from the trigger and pulled on the back half of the gun.

That to me shows he knows what he is doing and treated the gun with respect.

Yeah, thats what I thought which is why I was confused at the contradiction.

Recently on Gunatics someone posted an article of some gang banger who got gunned down with .40 HP rounds... He was hit in the upper torso. Now the weird part. The rounds ONLY penetrated 1.5 inches into his torso and then stopped. There were X-ray pics and an autopsy report to back up the claim... All of us were confused, how could that happen?

Well, it turns out the dude was wearing some ridiculous jacket and a few lays of clothers under his coat... Although he still died, the clothes he was wearing dramatically slowed the bullets.

Perhaps this guy was wearing 11 pairs of gloves?

you dont grab the back of the slide and pinch it. you literally grab OVER the top of the slide rear of the ejection port.

If you ababy the slide like that you WILL get misfeeds or failure to feeds.

and paul, right you are it isnt 9mm. my mistake
