The bullet is only resting on the spent casing.

i went to a scene where a dude shot his XD .357 sig right through his hand. He said he was trying to unload it.

It makes no sense if he was locking the slide back. you need two hands. hahaha

Apparently, these idiots think that racking the slide of a loaded weapon requires you to keep your f-ing finger on the trigger. What the hell were they thinking? Your finger should be nowhere near the trigger unless you are planning to shoot - that is basic. Secondly, why is your palm ever in front of the barrel? When I rack the slide, my palm and fingers are on the sides of the slide, on TOP of the gun. What kind of gun can you rack with your palm positioned in front of the barrel? Morons.

Whoa, wait... I don't understand...

1. How did that .40 round NOT go through his hand? .40 isn't exactly the biggest round out there, but it can still penetrate something that isn't dense, like a HAND! A .22LR, I can understand, but a .40 round? Only thing I can think of is if the round was a silent low velocity round + hollow point, but even then, to not penetrate a HAND? Doesn't make sense to me.

2. Why the hell is the bullet still inside the casing? There's no possible way that the bullet was fired from a gun, absolutely NO possible way. The only thing I can think of is that he retrieved the actual bullet from his hand and placed it back into the original casing that it was fired from for some reason. Otherwise there's no way that bullet came from a gun.

The wound is not nearly severe enough for a pointblack shot with a .40 HP.
Plus, the bullet would not likely mushroom that much going through the meaty part of his hand.

Not sure if you're kidding or not, but I know you're not a fan of Glocks and prefer Sigs... Glocks are simple tools that go bang every time you pull the trigger... The only time a Glock WONT fire is when you DON'T pull the trigger.

I don't understand where the Glock hate comes from. Sure, some people may not like them due to personal preference, but to knock the gun for trivial things like claims of the guns not being reliable, firing on their own, etc... That's just plain ignorance. Of all pistols out there, Glock reigns supreme in terms of reliability and there are cold hard facts to back that up. I'm not saying that Sigs aren't reliable even though I've owned 3 SIG lemons. There are def many pistols out there that are more accurate then a Glock, thats not to say that Glocks aren't accurate because they are, but there are pistols out there that have the edge over Glocks in terms of accuracy just like Glock has the edge in reliability.

I think it's funny that I used to be a huge SIG fanboy and used to blindly HATE Glocks. I didn't like Glocks because I thought they were cheap because of their cost, I didn't like the fact that everyone and their mother had one, and I hated their gang reputation... After owning my sigs for a couple years I got really fed up with the fact that they would malfunction ALL THE DAMN TIME! My friend insisted that I shoot his full size Glock .45 (Glock 21), as much as I hated the idea and tried to resist it, I fell in love with that gun and officially owned one about a month later. Since then I sold all my SIG's and have obtained 6 Glocks (which all vary in size and caliber). I own a few other pistols too, but I mainly prefer my Glock 21 for almost anything.

Wow, that kinda came out of nowhere... It was a child of my boredom I guess... lol.

I may change my mind after looking at the pictures again; wound channel looks like gun shot.
But I still don't believe that's the bullet that caused the injury.
