Hate to say it with just 3 weeks to go, but we are being forced to re-schedule.
Those of you that signed up should have gotten an e-mail by now explaining the situation, and anybody who had a problem with getting out there on Father's Day weekend should check back with us next week.
Hopefully the new date we come up with will work better for a lot of people.

Gorman, Prescott, Idaho, My Hood, Rally Colorado, and that is just the rally events that share volunteers with us- there was no way to find a weekend between July and December that doesn't have some sort of conflict in it.
HAN is a big deal in downtown Reno, and I expect it will adversely impact some room availability and such but we have to do what we have to do, and that date isn't even approved yet.
We are bound to lose some people with this but that's Rally, hopefully we'll get enough new folks to make up for the loss.

and because we plan to do awards and everything Saturday night nobody needs to worry about missing the BAM on Sunday!, that is- if we get the 8th....

Very crappy Pete! Not your fault I know, but horrible nonetheless. What are the other dates you're shooting for? I've got a lot of **** going on in the weeks after the 20th.

Fact is it isn't really up to us, we asked for August 8th but its up to the powers that be, and until we hear back from them we can't really say- hopefully we will have the word Monday or Tuesday and the date won't be a problem for too many people.
And seriously, if anybody around here thinks they can do a better job organizing this kind of stuff, we would love to put you to work...
