Im still trying to recover from yesterday and you guys are talkin about going back!! LoL, looking at my tires today at the tire/brake place its no wonder I lost control so badly, I REALLY REALLY need new tires. So thats another thing, Im gonna need them before I go with you guys, unless Im just a passenger this time.

Rich,

Thanks for the invitation. Im gonna see how things go this week with my car first cuz I would like to drive if possible, so I should be able to let you know by the middle of this week. Also, I wanted to thank you for organizing an awsome time, despite the injuries my baby suffered....ah well, new paint, couple a new body parts and shes good as new.

Jeremy, thank you also for the food, very kind of you.

I got to give it to Both of you guys for taking the car stuff so well. If a deer ran out infront of me like that and made me wreck i'd be pissed. Hows your G-friend handling the whole thing?

Oh, and Patrick it's totally cool if your car can't run it quite so soon and you come with me. Maybe i'll even let you drive a spell.

Well, shes fine....shes actually not my gf, just a really good friend. But actually she drove home to Monterey this morning and she called me, she had lost control of her car like 2 min from her house and ended up in a ditch....I hate to say it but I think she might be bad luck. Shes fine, her car is ok, cracked front bumper but thats about it.

The car can be fixed, thats the way I see it....that squirl however....well, his troubles are over. Im just glad that when I hit him I didnt launch him into the wagon's hood scoop who was behind me, that would not have been fun to clean out of the fins in his intercooler.

Thanks Rich, but I think I would be just along for the ride if I can make it, I wouldnt feel comfortable driving your Rex on a road that I myself had only driven once before and not come away scott free. I would kill myself if I messed up your Subie. Very generous of you tho.

No actually, it want Pete. He was behind me a lot of the way, but it was the white 04. I never actually got his name, hes from SF, or thats where he was headed after the drive. Cool guy tho, him and his 2 friends. They were behind me when I lost it too, so they ran up to help if I needed it after I started spinning. If your on this forum, thanks man, I could have really needed you.

Thanks Preston, I hosed the car off this morning and took it in to get an alignment and looks like new tires....my fronts are peeling on the sides, more than likely from the drive yesterday and the spin didnt help Im sure, so add some new tires to the list for me.

The guy with the white 04 wagon was named "Anthony". He was a really nice guy. But the car wasn't even his. It was his friends who was out of town and he told him over the phone he was going to take it. Is friend said "If you crash my car......" Luckily for him his car(or his friends car) came away OK.

Just to let you all know. I'll be putting on my next drive march 14th (sunday) if any of you feel like going. It may take place up near Clear Lake. But that's not 100% desided. But what i hav desided is putting a disclaimer on the thread, warning people that they "may" be part of the small persentage of people that drive with me that wreck thier car. I think is come down to a 12% chance that someone is going to eat it.
