Non subaru parts....

I'm having an issue finding a couple of parts and I'm wondering if you guys might have a good source.

I need head bolt washers for 3/8ths bolts and I need a carburetor spacer with a PCV attachment in it for a carter carb. Holley I think works too. 1 or 2 inch is fine. I have plenty of hood space. haaa.

That's all I need to finish my motor. That and a one inch hole drilled in my valley pan. Anyone have a drill press? haaaa.

I can't find the damned plate on summit racing and most of the head bolt washers I saw were way small or way big.

But I'll look again.

It had a road draft tube stock. I got rid of that for a cleaner look... plus the sweet finned valley pan. I need to run the PCV to either the air cleaner or the carb to get suction. Carb adapter plate is easiest way. Otherwise I have to weld a bung on the air cleaner. Plus I can hide the hose better this way. Got a polished PCV valve though. Should look good.

I ran into a similar thing with my '75 Celica project. I fabbed a "PCV thingus" with an old EGR adaptor plate which was a neat idea that ended up sucking. Eventually I just used a Trans-Dapt adaptor for my Weber 38/38 and drilled/tapped a hole for PCV - used a fitting I grabbed from Kohlweiss in Redwood City. In some engines you really want to keep PCV but I vent my blowby to atmo w/ a teeny K&N.

Is this for your Caddy? I know some people up here that might be able to find stuff - I can ask tomorrow. Jeff's right though - call them. So many times they don't have what I am looking for, but a phone call sorts it - they are very helpful.
