hmm arnold has been one of the most successful politicatians since 2005/2006 when he started working with the democraps on some issues... plus lots of people are so green now they like him even more... california usually sets an example on many issues and the rest of the states usually follow us(like our harsh car emissions laws, etc.)

Has anyone thought to, I dunno, check his credentials outside of acting? Was he going to school in this field? Poly Sci major or something?
Everyone is so quick to go "OMG OBAMA IS AN IDIOT!!11oneone". Career changes happen people... Sure he probably makes a tidy sum acting, but it may not be something he wants to do for the rest of his life. A career in politics is pretty stable and is something you can build your professional life around.

Besides acting it looks like he has credentials. I think the Obama campaign will obviously benefit from another well known person in his group to help spread to word. My opinion is obviously been reiterated, he can hire God and I wouldn't care one bit until he makes a way for this country to start saving to invest in capital and produce to export. 'Til I see that, I don't see a change.

I do. I know plenty of informed, passionately right republicans and really enjoy talking to them. The main difference is that they do their research (both sides! :gasp: what a concept!) and make their decisions and talking points based on that, rather than factless and biased political spin.
