Question No-Wet Waterless Carwash... Skeptical

Has anyone ever used this product? Is it a waste of time? money?
Some old man came into my work asking who's dirty black car that was outside... I was like that would be me... he showed me the product and was like let me clean the trunk lid.. he sprayed it on and wiped it off... the dirt came off... and came out pretty good looking.. now my real question is will it do damage later? or is this product on the level? (I dont want to beat an old man for f'N up my car)

i think the thing with that kinda stuff is to use it when what your washing isn't too dirty. because dirt can get trapped under the wipe and get dragged around making microscopic scratches on the paint.
