congrats man. we're going through the same research now... sometime next year we'll have another little one so it's off to a bigger car. Subies should make a bigger wagon. we have sometime to figure things out. but it goes... odyssey, sienna, some big SUV... kind of fuel, mileage, AWD/4WD or not.... decisions decisions. damn it can't believe I'm consider a minivan.

MP - Does the middle row, middle seat fold down by itself? kinda like captan chairs?

Seems Nissan isn't quite sure what it's got.

"Every 2004 Titan features a powerful 305-horsepower/379 lb-ft torque-rated 5.6-liter Nissan Endurance V8 engine"

Nice ride none the less.

I said no minivan, that was my only rule. My friend with a 3 year old was trying to convince me on the Honda Odyssey, but that thing is tiny compared to this.

The armada is the only full size suv that all the seats fold down completely flat. There is an option to get 2nd row captains chairs with another big center console, but we wanted to be able to fold flat all the time.

<flamesuit> We got the 2wd also, absolutely no need for 4wd, and saved us almost $4k. Same towing capacity, etc, less weight and less stuff to break. You'd drive the 4wd in 2wd mode anyway to keep from getting 1mpg anyway. </flamesuit>

And bassplayr, the torque ratings for the Titan and the armada are different. I believe the titan can tow a bit more.

Thanks for the nice words guys.

hmmm... didn't know about those options. Armada now on the list of cars to check out. I'm not that bothered by the whole minivan thing, the WRX is staying and this will be for the wife.

Congrats on the new SUV, Eric! BTW, you have a cute kid!

I've actually been gawking at the Denali SS lately...I would look into one of those if I was looking at a SUV. Then again, I'm not too thrilled about GMC reliability.
