Car Info: The Fit is gone!
Last month I picked up a 1986 Nissan Pulsar so I can learn stick on it. I didnt get time to try it out untill the other night and found out it needed work. It was fine for a few min, then I pulled over to let someone pass and the car died. Didnt sputter or anything, just quietly stopped running. Alot of the idiot lights came on, including brakes, oil, etc. Didnt restart, so I was gonna push it home. After getting it stuck in someones driveway I got pissed and was determined to drive it home. Kept turning the key (starter was fine, lights didnt dim or anything) and after about 45 seconds of trying with the gas pedal it started and I got it home, where it died again. I know nothing about the cars previous life, but it seems to be well taken care of. Any suggestions on where to start? Im broke so I just cant take it to a shop (my Subaru is broken too...). Any suggestions or ideas are welcome, TIA.
