Nikon Digital SLRs

Hey peeps,

Do any of you know if there is going to be a new camera replacing the Nikon D70? I'm seeing all these Rebates come out, and I'm wondering if there will be a price drop on it soon. After that, companies usually have a new one to replace the old.

so is there any info out there or rumor of a new Nikon Digital SLR?

I love my D70. It really is a great camera and cannot be beat for the price. Just makes sure you get a good lense. The kit lense is better than Canons kit lense but it still isn't the best.

They're offering a 200 dollar rebate on the kit now.. that's why I'm considering it. but isn't 1000 bux a lot to pay for a camera?

Depends on what you use it for. If you are just a hobbiest then I would almost say get the canon DSLR, its cheaper.

But I shoot more than just on the side.

Here are some photos to "win you over"

OOoooooo... nice. me likes. Youhave a good eye for things. well.... I like to shot pictures too. and well, to be honest, I have a lot of nikon lenses. and it would just be a waste for me to get the Rebel. you know what I mean? I'd have to buy new lenses and those sometiems cost more than the camera itself. you know of any place that would sell the body for cheap?

The picture of that EVO is awesome! (Well, the EVO is ugly, but the picture is cool). I like how you can see the tires flexing.

is it really flexing?? I mean,... it's an all wheel drive car too... so wouldn't it also at least have a little flexing at the front too?

When you accelerate, your weight is shifted to the back, and this lowering the rear, and raising the front. There is still pressure up front, but not NEARLY as much as the rear... Which is another reason that FWD sucks.
