And yeah its more than Zs were going for 5-10 years ago but right now its market correct. the classic japanese car market has been woefully undervalued for years compared to American or European cars from the same era, its finally picking up some steam, thats the only reason hes finally thinking about selling it. Its def still not the cheapest 240Z you can pick up, but you couldnt find a straight one and restore it yourself and get it set up the way he has it for anywhere near 20K. Its def going to be the right car at the right price for just a few people

Alas, I need to remodel my kitchen. Tortoise shell square tile and poo brown linoleum floor need to GOOO!
Best of luck to your friend. Good news is, this will go to someone who will appreciate it most likely.

Just googling Peter Brock might point you to the late Australian race driver, my guess would be it's the other Pete Brock, designer of the Cobra Daytona coupe and instigator of BRE who signed the dash on the z...

I don't even know what to say about this but this is obviously coming from someone who has zero interest in cars, racing, automotive history or Datsuns. I don't understand people like that.
Well - they don't really "go" for $20k though many get advertised at that level. From what I understand this is one of the few cars out there that is actually worth it. It's not for the general public and definitely NOT for someone looking for a killer deal on transportation BUT if someone out there has an itch for a 240Z and does not have the where-with-all to spend the astounding amount of time/money to get there - this is a rare opportunity to own what is essentially the most awesome turnkey 240Z I have ever heard of, for a fraction of what it would cost to create this on your own. For a niche group, this is a killer steal and Rob should not sell it to anyone that isn't absolutely GOTTAHAVIT serious about this car.
I would love to own this car, but - my life prevents it right now. A few years ago, this is exactly what I was looking for but.. There is no way I can peel off that kind of cash for something that is awesome but not practical. If I had this lurking in my garage, I would never sell it as long as I lived.
Selling cars like this is one of the most painful things one can endure. I really hope the "right person" finds this ad.
