Stock vs stock, STi will own GTO on track. I do all my comparisons on track abilities. And I've owned GTOs on track before.

But GTOs ARE fast on the straights.

 

look at the mods too. the bov makes me sense it was beat on

i remember there was a top gear comparison between the GTO and the STi, the STi was about 4 seconds faster, but the driver said the GTO was a lot more fun to drive cause of the oversteer. I guess, he wants to go drifto.

 

500+ whp would need a supercharger or TT setup with supporting mods. That's a lot more than 3 grand.
