Question Nice Dinner in Santa Clara...

Hey guys and girls, does anyone have any suggestion of restaurants in Santa Clara? I'm lookin' somewhere between $10-$20 dollars a meal, it's ok if it's a little over. Don't have to be dressed up in a suit or nice dress, just a good place to eat. Somethin' a step higher than some local Ihop or Denny's. Thanks for the input.

Closer to AMC the better!

Oh I forgot to mention that maybe an Italian or French restaurant. Thanks.

Bennigan's ???

Decent food (easily better than Denny's!), in that price range, and about 2 minutes from AMC

Nicolino's is a great Italian restaurant on Tasman Dr, west of Great America pkwy. It's less than 5 mins from AMC Mercado. There's also Birk's off of Mission College blvd.

$10-$20 and nice?? Hmmmm read the title and first thing that came to mind is parcel 104 at the marriot which is real close to the the theater, but I don't think $10-$20 would cover it. hmmmmm.... How about a Pho shop? McDonalds maybe? Sushi wouldn't work with that budget and you want french or italian(sorry typing to myself). Right on the other side of 101 on Lakeside at the Plaza Suites there's a little place called the Plaza Bistro, it's not terribly expensive if you stay away from wine. Only french places I know of are down a bit on Saratoga Ave, and there's always the Plumed Horse in Saratoga(if you really want to impress her it is worth the drive). Tomatina is an ok italian place and it's right in the mercado it would definately work with your budget.

Ok brain hurts, all tapped out. hope that helps.
