if you really want to be safe and sleep at night get one of those snake chains that motor cycle riders use to secure their ride. take this lock and run it through the wheel and then through your suspension that way if they get any bright ideas in trying to jack the car or the wheels it would be nearly impossible , ntm that theses locks are very hard to break.

god damn thiefs. I cant wait to get out of san jose. too many people, too much steeling cause pathetic, greedy, waste of life, pieces of **** can't get a eff'en job and buy their own ****.
I think I would litterally kill someone if I saw them trying to jack peoples ****.
In Saratoga (in front of starbucks @ westgate) some eff'in lame *** stole my frinds HUB CAPS, yes folks hub caps.
They were stock toyota hubcaps, not even nice looking. yet some crack head took them while my friend was working.

yeah...supposedly sunnyvale has a basically 0% crime rate according to some government publication.
maybe it's just us. my sister's boyfriend's g35 got "de-badged" in front of our house.
I try to park my POS 91 Nissan Pickup in front of the house as much as possible: a) in hopes that it gets stolen, and b) that people will think we don't got ****. I guess it didn't work.

oh wahhhh, sunnyvale ghetto? Cry me a river. Try living in Oakland, Lake Merritt area. All three of my cars have been broken into, dented, scratched... etc, etc.
Yea untill they unbolt two more bolts on the bottom of the strut and slide the chain out. Those two bolts will add... oh, 10secs onto their jacking time.

i was being sarcastic about sunnyvale being ghetto. my folks are from west sacramento...I know what real ghetto is
I live right on sunnyvale ave...close to the caltrain station...next to the military depots. i think the fact that it's kinda a main street, but with mostly of residential parts makes it an easy target for thieves passing by.

except for the fact that most people jacking wheels don't lug around a tool kit. They bring a tire iron. and a jack. that's it. they are trying to be in and out.
they see a chain on there and they're gonna be like...damn...it.. not..oh I need two 21mm wrenches...grab them off the bench...you know.
But they again.....a lot of guys will take 2/3 wheels....and sell them. So you'd really need like 4 of these things...and they run like $115 each.

that "not that i've done it part" refers to me not living in ethiopia.
and anyone here who knows me knows that i'm too lazy to steal anything, let alone, jack the car up, unbolt the bolts, and carry 4 freakin wheels to my getaway car. then finding out that since this is my only car, and i don't really want to scratch my paint or damage the interior, be REAAALY careful where i put the wheels, THEN drive home and attempt to put them on, and since i don't really have the tools, i'd probably tighten the bolts too loose and when I roll out on my new set of wheels, they fall off because I didn't tighten them enough.
