New wheels been on for one day and someone tried to jack 'em

not even a full day. put on my sti bbs 17" sunday afternoon. sunday night/monday morning...my alarm went off. went outside and saw a tire iron on the ground and a gash on my rear passenger body panel. F#$%!!!!!!

Which one of you f#@&ers tried to jack my rims

God damn I hate this ghetto part of Sunnyvale I'm in. Funny thing is, I couldn't even afford to buy a house in this ghetto hood.

That's one of the reason that I sold my Gold BBS'. They were too high profile for me, considering the area I live in. It was only a matter of time until they disappeared.

They will eventually try to jack your rims again although it might be a different thief. You should find a garage. You have to be able to park it in a secure area when you are at home.

Forget about trying to catch the potential thief. That will be an ongoing battle with different thieves and nothing to gain from it. Concentrate on moving to a better neighborhood or buying a home because where you live is more important than what you drive.

No one tries to take my stock WRX wheels - they're worth about $50/used each rim, not counting the tires. Wheel locks act as a further deterrent. Stock radio inside the car. When I return from a two-hour movie, I know my stuff will still be there.

I wish I could move somewhere else. I mean moving to East Palo Alto would be rent INCREASE for me I had no idea Sunnyvale was so f'ing ghetto...

isn't it sad comment about the Bay Area cost of living when a neighborhood with $650,000 houses is kinda ghetto. sheesh
