Today driving on South of 101, I saw a blacked out honda behind me with blue and red lights in the grill, headlights, in the rear a light bar and tail lights flying past me with the lights on. Was wondering if this is a new under cover car or just some dude playing with traffic

 

Probably undercover. Ive seen unmarked camry hybrids when they first came out in 04-05 while i was working at stevens creek toyota back in the days.

 

Perhaps it was some other sort of LEO other than a traffic cop. Detective or something? I remember a while back seeing a show about these detctives that had an awesome Ford Turino.

 

What about the one with the local detective that daily drives a hemi cuda?

 

There's an SRT-8 300C around my area before didn't notice till he said nice car and then took off on me with CA exempt plates and lights on.

They aren't unmarked, but CHP is using the all black Chargers with no light bar on I5. I know, because I got pulled over by one

 

When a BMW flipped in front of me on 17 I saw two CHP hemi chargers smashing down at like 100mph and then back up to reach where he crashed. They were female LEO's. Boss.

 

Like others said, it was probably a detective or something like that.

I know I wouldn't pull over for some unmarked honda flashing its lights at me.

 

I have never seen an undercover or LEO in the South Bay drive an import, ever. That's strange. I know SJPD definitely has never had imports.

 

There was a new unmarked black Dodge Avenger that cut me off on HWY 1 and he flipped on his rear lights to get me off his behind.

 

its probably DEA, they are notorious for having "stock" cars with hidden lights. I use to live next door to one and she had access to all kinds of cars just like that as well as some other fun toys.

 

Could also be DHS.

A neighbor of ours usually drives a crown vic but sometimes comes home with a mini-van...with dash lights and BLACKED out windows.

 

In San Jose I have seen a few different un marked import police vehicles (camry, and a nissan). they were used by detective and like drug/gang/graffiti task force.
