but seriously, you get what you pay for, especially with tires. if you want exceptional performance in any condiion but snow, look at the michelin pilot sports. spendy, but soooooooooo nice.
If you're looking for some M+S capability (i.e. a few Tahoe trips) consider Toyo Proxes 4. Very nice upgrade from the stockers; very good dry traction for an all season, good wet traction. Not cheap, though.

RE-01Rs are the S0-3 replacement and in that size are W rated wont last long(but when do W rates last long) but the 01s have big shoulder blocks for dry grip and wide center for water dispertion.
RT-615s are horrible in rain, and after a few runs they get soft and gooey they don't retain heat well as much as the bridgestones (got any more questions just ask me ((i do alot of research on tires since i do work @ wheel works))

Alright, Here is my opinion Anthony. I'm not sure about this, but aren't your wheels 18x8.5? If so, I'd try to run maybe 245's instead. Are you doing 235's because of rubbing issues?
As far as tires, I'm not sure about other brands, but I know a lot of Falkens line. The RT-615's are pretty good SUMMER tires, they do get crappy after a while and suck in the rain though, so I advise you not to get these. There are Falken ZE-452's, which rate BETTER than these in dry AND have great handling in the rain, while still getting good treadwear and price. Check them out, I'm getting them soon. A friend had the RT-615's, RT-512's, and ZE-452's and he said no doubt, the 452's were the best. They are pretty cheap too, 245/40/17's would be a little over $100 a piece, so I would guess 235/40/18's would be around $115-120. Good luck anthony!

funny because my wheels are 18x9.5.... yea i know smile everyone!! it has a lip =] but i would go with 245/40/18 but im a little sketchy on that because of the rubbing issue... i might end up with the falkens 452 or maybe give the yokohama s.drives a test?
