it's a 92, so it's probally a supercharged 1.6L. Those things arent much faster than the stock 1.8's at all.

The 1.8's are in the 130's.

 

A local shop owner owns a supercharged on 1.6L and w/ my friend in his 99 w/ me in the car got pulled a 3/4 a car length on us on a freeway pull from 60. The supercharged miatas are fast, faster than any stock miata, but from a modding point the 1.8L is better. The owner of the supercharged car highly agrees.
