yeah I knew this one had stink all over it a few months ago, I was playing the beta over summer, heres what I posted on the CoD thread

All the reviews Ive seen since then (IGN, PC Gamer, Kotaku) have felt the exact same way, heres a good review that pretty much sums it up...

theres a video out of the reviewer walking through the first level on the hardest difficulty with just a pistol and breezing though it because your teamates do all the work. Its basically like a FPS that should have been released 6-7 years ago. AI that has enemies running into walls and each other and WALKING right into your gunfire. Scripting so rigid you cant even kick in a door or jump over a log before the pre-scripted scene instructs you to. Its really sad that EA has come to this, they dumped MILLIONS into advertising this as the most modern and realistic first person military simulation ever and wouldnt shut up about how they spent months with actual spec ops guys fine tuning it to be totaly realistic and what they released was a completely derivative, cookie-cutter/run-n-gun shooting gallery FPS that could have been released years ago, F-you EA, I hope CoD stomps your *** next week!

...dont worry there wont be any tanks, from all reports Treyarch is bringing the multiplayer mode in this CoD in line with the other MW multiplayer modes. And now that Infinity Ward is gone, in all fairness we should really only be comparing Treyarch to whats left out there, ive been playing the Medal of Honor:Modern Warfare beta for the last couple weeks and its bad, REALLY bad, even for a beta.
I knew going in it was a shameless MW ripoff so my expectations werent high, but jeez it looks and feels like something that should have come out 6-7 years ago, and the insurgents, OMG they look like characters out of Team America World Police, I kept expecting them the yell "DURKA DURKA DURKA!!"

I have agree. I didn't enjoy it much. It felt weak to me; aiming in wasn't smooth enough and it seemed like i didn't really have to try but more just wait for the game to tell me to do something.
I was also bummed out on halo reach so I've been gameless since halo reach. I'm almost ready to just sell the 360 and call it quits. I'm hoping black ops will kick *** but I'm going to rent it before I spend the $60 bucks on it. I rather rent it and know i'll like it before I spend $60 and end up hating it.
What do you guys think though, keep the 360 and use the PS3 I got with my TV or sell the 360 and use the PS3?
