A new low level of stupidity *pics*
Pic fail! Pic would have won if it showed a grey dent in your white door. LoL, people don't care about boundaries. I have so many door dings I think of them like signature art than a ding itself... ><

you realize, if you guys have such a problem with people illegally parking, you can always have thier car towed.
The prius is parked next to that yellow pole, which if im not mistaken means its a tow away zone....
Instead of vandalizing people (*which i think is ****ing stupid*), be smart and do it the legal way.
And BTW ^ that parking arrangement sucks, but you can have people towed for parking infront of a driveway like that.
IM WILLING TO BET after a few people start paying $300 to get thier car back, your driveway may seem a bit more open. (lol help your local economy out!)

I'd never vandalize someone's car ever, just to be clear.
I don't think you realize what it would be like to call a tow company or the police or whatever for every jerk that does this. This is an every day - sometimes 3 times a day (if I am coming/going to my place) thing - happens to my wife when she comes home for lunch. It's a busy area, and we pay for the spot so we don't have to deal with this. I would say maybe 5% of the occurrences leave the car remaining there for more than say 30min so in most cases, unless I had a deal with a local close tow truck, the people would be gone too fast anyway. It's just a timing thing. Sucks to come home expecting to pull in your driveway, and have to park your car and try to find the Douche of the Day. Sitting there and calling someone only to have nothing done or the situation continue and deal with the same crap daily anyway, would be worse than what it is now. If it gets worse or cars linger, then I will add one of those "will be towed at the owner's expense" signs, but honestly I would feel petty for getting someone's car towed even though, it does suck. The thing is for me, and maybe this is coming from living in SF, I just do not understand what makes people park in someone's driveway. I would never do it - just wouldn't.
It would also suck to have someone vandalize my car because I called tow on them. I dunno. Just another stupid situation brought to you by stupid people.

And yeah, i can understand the frustration about that bs...Hah, but get this - if you put that sign up and have 1 or 2 cars towed... the company will get the hint and prolly have a truck around the area (maybe even driving by once a week to check) then you don't have to call them and the problem gets fixed by itself! =P
I dunno, thats the best solution i can come to, either that, or hang a HUGE red banner across the street saying "DON'T ****ING PARK HERE"

I used to live at a house where people would park in the driveway ALL the time. I'd have to sit around for 5-10 minutes before I could get into my freakin garage. most of the time, people figure they can park in a driveway because they will only be a few minutes. Towing is a good idea...but by the time the tow truck gets there, they are gone. Or even if the car was still there...if the owner comes back while they're lifting it...they have to drop it. I just figured it wasn't worth the time and effort for the tow truck guys. But I have called DPT and given tickets to people for blocking the driveway. That's always fun cuz it pisses them off so much.
What I do whenever someone parks like that - hopefully it's their driver's side I'm entering into. I just park in my stall but HELLLLLLLA close to them, like Japanese parking garage close, 2 inches away from them such that it's impossible for them to get in the car.
I do it in Tahoe too. arseholes at ski resorts always park crappy, thinking they'll have more space if they take up two stalls. Nope, I just fold my mirrors in and squeeeeze in with an inch of space on both sides, and get out from my trunk
Obviously I risk them hitting my car trying to get out, but shoot I'll pay for the paint scratches and dents. Worth it to have them come back to their car and find that they can't get into the driver's side door because they suck at parking

geo metro is a death trap tho, kinda negates any gas saving.
On a side note helping tow truck drivers out is not cool. They are pretty much worse than any drug dealer i've ever met. Ive definitely had to belittle one before and let him know how sad is life was
It was one of my darker moments.

I mainly made the comment, because if you are _THAT_ bothered with horrible parking problems, there is always a solution - It grind down to how much time you wanna spend resolving it.

Because the power supply to the garage is there and it is the corner of the garage and there is not enough room for a parking spot, as evidenced by the fact that ******* was as close to the yellow markers as he was to my car and he was still halfway in my spot.

Strange, when people are illegally parking in my apt. complex, i have them towed, you are right tho, it does take a little while -BUT! once its on the lift it's gone, if you had guys lower it when the ppl came out - you had a nice tow truck driver. But I've seen a driver come back to his car right as it was getting pulled onto the truck - he begged, yelled, swore anything and that car went bye bye with the tow truck driver.
