Welcome to i-club. I really got a lot out of rally school and would highly recommend attending. Here is a link to the school I went to.

Rally school looks really cool. I was actually contemplating hooked on driving's HPDE training for beginners. Does anyone have experience with it (or other track day programs)?

just come out to the next autocross event, drive it like you stole it, and have fun. Best way I can think of to learn the limits of your car in a safe manner

Howdy! Fellow spice fiend here! You haven't lived until you ask for spicy at the Laotian restaurant -- in Lao!

Any good recommendations on Laotian restaurants? I used to go to a place in Berkeley called Dara (Thai/Lao) but haven't had too much Laos food in general.

Lately, I'm really into Filipino food (since I live so close to Daly City). The food isn't spicy but the flavors are awesome (I love garlic) and adding some Sriracha takes it to another level. And I LOVE Indian food (north and south).

+1 Nothing like hitting up a nice spicy meal at a restaurant after an auto/rallyX event.

Still looking around myself. Just back to the Bay this past week after a few years in So Cal. I'll let you know if I find anywhere good (and hopefully you'll do the same for me!).

And yeah, Filipino is good! But it's also dangerous with all that unctuous crispy, fatty pork! *drool*
