I'm just not into sticking STi badges onto a WRX..there's no need for it.

Love the OP's car though, very clean.

Are you also against people having "STI" branded aftermarket factory parts and accessories?

No. Just the stickers LOL.

The trend for WRX owners to try to make their cars look like an STi and STi owners de-badging to make theirs look like a WRX continues

I honestly wasn't trying to offend you if you do have a bunch of STi stickers on your car, please don't take offense, it wasn't intended

Not not offended at all, just trying to figure out the intention of your statement. Now that its made clear, I can elaborate.

People tend to forget ( or is not aware of) that STI Subaru Tecnica International is a tuning division of Subaru FHI. It is a company not a "car". Its Subaru WRX Tuned by STI, not "an STI" If you are rocking badges to represent the company, its totally fine because you are representing the heritage of where your car came about. Much like putting on SPT decals or Prodrive or anything similar. Badges are badges, as long as they are coherent with your brand and model. Wear it proudly, it is our heritage. But just don't CALL your car something its not.

When I was working at a stealership, there was a sales guy that was taking a look at a wrx trade in, peeking inside the interior. He saw a STI branded aftermarket factory optional shift **** for the 5MT ( I highly doubt he knew any of that or that it was even an option, hes pretty much ultra poser status subaru driving DB) and he said "Ugh I hate it when guys put STI parts in their car thinking that its AN STI, they are sooo stupid...." and so on. Then I started picking his brain about shift ***** and weight, etc. I loved messing with him when he spouts misinformed knowledge in my presence.

Please don't be like that guy LOL!

Completely understand..but if the only STi parts you have are the stickers it gets pretty sad..trying to pass a WRX off as an STi is fail
