New - Fabricated Exhaust
I felt a little randy on Thursday so I had our exhaust guy build me a 2.25" catback using a Borla Pro-XS muffler.
MAN - I am a happy boy.
It sounds just like the 2.5" Borla systems we have used on WRX's. At idle the engine sounds pretty much stock, but at WOT it screams. Nice little seat of the pants gain too.
This is on my 2000 Outback sport, if anyone wants to check it out drop a email and I'll be happy to show off a little...
The best part, the whole thing is cheap. Muffler sells for $99 retail, figure another $35 for the SS tip. Just gotta fab the pipes, and weld it up.
I could probably setup club members for ~ $400 installed.
